THE 5 DAY CHALLENGE BREAKDOWN

Daily live trainings + action steps breaking down the Baby-Led P.L.A.Y. Framework:

Monday-Friday, November 10-14, 1-1:30pm MST on GoogleMeet

Replay access to the trainings through Sunday, November 16

Day 1: P is for Preparation Part 1- Mindset

Right now, you might be constantly questioning if you're doing enough- or exhausting yourself trying to do all the things. Today we'll bust a bunch of myths around learning and development that might be making your life harder than it needs to be. You'll walk away knowing you don't have to do more- you just have to know what baby actually needs.

Day 2: P is for Preparation Part 2- Environment

Even if you're home alone with baby every day... you don't have to be... entirely. In many alternative education philosophies, the environment is known as the "third teacher" because of how much children learn through their interactions with their surroundings. On day 2 you’ll discover how to tweak your space to unlock this powerful teacher and give the main teacher (you) a moment to actually drink your coffee while it's hot.

Day 3: L is for Lead with Connection

Does it often feel like you’re either glued to your baby 24/7 or “ignoring” them to get a moment to breathe? On day 3 you’ll discover how intentional connection can actually unlock your baby's ability to explore on their own, and this rhythm of connection and exploration will not only give you a break-- but builds strong attachment and self-confidence too!

Day 4: A is for Allow for Autonomy

You want to let your baby play on their own, but the moment you step back you feel the pressure or the guilt to jump back in, amIrite? On day 4 you’ll go deeper into why it's so important to give your baby space-- for you and them! You’ll also find out how to nurture your baby's concentration and gently build their stamina for play without pushing or forcing it.

Day 5: Y is for Yield to Reality

Some days everything flows—baby’s happy, you get moments to breathe—and other days… not so much. Today is about learning to yield to reality—releasing what's not in your control, and learning how to adjust for what is. Because when you stop fighting the day and start flowing with it, you’ll find more peace, more presence, and more joy in the very real ebb and flow rhythm that is baby-led play.

HI THERE! I'M ALEXIS

I'm a mom and former teacher of 10 years who helps new parents support their baby's development more by doing less.

When my son Wyatt was born, I quickly saw that the same damaging “more is more" myth I’d experienced in education was alive and well in parenting too: that more teaching, more activities, and more engagement is somehow better.

But the truth? Research shows young children learn best through responsive relationships and their own-self directed exploration- not constant engagement or stimulation.

I'm tired of watching kids and adults struggle because of this myth. With Baby-Led Play, I'll show you how to confidently support your baby’s development and your relationship in a way that is actually better for everyone in the family.

XOXO- Alexis

HEAR ME WHEN I SAY

You don't have to choose between doing what's right for your baby and what's sustainable for you.

There's a rhythm that gives every member of the family what they need to thrive: baby-led play.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Who is this challenge for?

This challenge is perfect for:

- Parents of babies 0-15 Months (if your baby is older you are welcome to come, some content just may not fully cover you).

- Stay-at-home, work-from-home AND "working" moms

Who is this challenge NOT for?

This may not be the best fit if you…

- Expect there to be a silver bullet to parenting that turns your child into a robot that is perfect at all times

- Are pretty certain nothing will work for your situation and not really open to trying something new

I have a newborn– should I wait until they are older?

Babies are creatures of habit, so the sooner you start giving them the opportunity for exploration the better because they won’t have gotten attached to a different way of going through their day.

We started when Wyatt was 2 weeks old and I can promise you– if you follow the guidance in this challenge there’s no way to do it “too early.”

What if my baby is older and isn’t used to playing without me?

Self-directed exploration is innate in all humans.  Your child may be used to you leading, but with this approach and patience they will get there too!

What if I can’t attend the live sessions?

No worries!  All live sessions will be recorded and available for replay through Sunday evening (general admission) and lifetime (VIP admission).
